Job Description

Perform basic grooming tasks such as shampoo/conditioning, brushing/dematting, blow drying of dogs, nail trimming, and ear plucking.
Maintain and ensure grooming room and bathing area cleanliness and safety.
Assist in booking and re-confirming grooming appointments.
Answer phone inquiries and help walk-in clients.
Explain our grooming services and standard procedures to clients.
Report any findings of unusual or abnormal health/behaviour conditions.
Handle dogs/cats with responsibility and care.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Able to work weekday mornings.
Have experience in handling dogs/cats.
Have good interpersonal skills, communication skills, organizational skills and time management skills.
Able to multi-task and attention to detail.
Have good hygiene and appropriate dress.
Have sufficient physical conditions that would fulfill the successful completion of all duties as necessary.
Must have great passion for dogs/cats and love to interact with clients.
Reliable transportation preferred.
