The groomer will be required to work Saturdays, and at least one weekday to start, with the opportunity to add more days. The ideal candidate is/has:

* experience with all breeds (at least 3 years experience)
* able to groom to breed standards AND/OR client request
* proficient in hand scissoring and clipper techniques (hand stripping a plus but not required)
* experienced in bathing, brushing, drying, nails and ears, clipping, styling, and de-matting

* good customer service and people skills
* a self-starter with a strong work ethic
* certificate in grooming
* available to work weekends
* able to work in a fast-paced environment and very organized
* able to lift 50 pounds
* able to groom 6 - 8 dogs per day (bather will not always be available)
