HipDog School of Grooming Arts

The HipDog School of Grooming Arts
offers a unique cutting edge curriculum and philosophy
for those interested in a career as a professional
canine artist/stylist. We feel grooming is a form of
art! (The medium we work in is dog hair). Anyone can
give a dog a haircut but it takes an artistic eye, a
creative spirit and full understanding of why you learn
to groom the correct way the first time to produce the
superior level of expertise our students enter the
profession with.
HipDog offers pet and show dog grooming
instructions, breed specific classes that others may
attend as a continuing education course each Tuesday
afternoon at 1:00 in a relaxed atmosphere. We limit
classes to no more than 3 students currently as we truly
do not subscribe to the cattle call type schools that
see students as money and cram 6 - 12 students in at a
time. We do not believe that more is better when
learning the fine art of daily grooming with competition
level results.
Precision "finish" grooming techniques
on every dog, safe manipulation of the dogs body to
prevent struggle and stress for the dog (and groomer) as
well as dog psychology all work together to produce
excellent professional groomers who will improve the
industry by setting the standard as graduates of The
HipDog School of Grooming Arts!
